Just finished, and it’s a big one. Headland Light is 60 × 60 inches (about 152 cm square), the largest piece in my Coastal Light collection so far.
I wanted to capture that moment of standing among the gums at the top of a headland, looking down through the trunks to the bay below. The afternoon sun warms the bark and the red coastal scrub at your feet, while the water and far headlands stay cool and blue. That pull between warm and cool light is what keeps bringing me back to the coast.

The canvas is gallery-wrapped with the sides painted neutral grey, so it can hang as is without a frame. Because of its size, it’s available for local pickup in Adelaide, and you’re welcome to come and see it in person first.
